Kuwana beef is a well-known delicacy – its superb flavour often being put down to the fine degree to which the meat is marbled.
Sukiyaki comes with onions, grilled tofu and shirataki noodles, but it's the quality of the beef that marks it out as a winner. Quickly grilled in a cast-iron pan,‘warishita’ (a stock consisting of mirin, soy sauce and sugar) is then added.
With various vendors renowned for their expert knowledge and use of only the most carefully selected beef, fans of sukiyaki are most certainly in for a treat.
