From Itami to any destination in Japan in under two hours!
Osaka International Airport, also known as Itami Airport, is one of three airports in the Kansai Area (along with Kansai International Airport and Kobe Airport). Itami Airport is one of Japan’s key domestic airports, with all flights to destinations within Japan taking under two hours.
The airport was opened in 1939 as Osaka’s second airfield, and from there was developed into an international hub. International flights were transferred to Kansai International Airport when it opened in 1994, but Itami Airport has continued to play an important role in connecting destinations within Japan.
The airport’s observation deck ‘La Sora’ is particularly popular among visitors, and has received TripAdvisor’s ‘Certificate of Excellence’.
