A superb view of Ago Bay, which has a complex coastline of Rias Coast representing Ise-Shima National Park. This has a unique scenery in Japan and we strongly recommend you to see it when you visit Ise-Shima region. Especially Yokoyama Observatory is the best spot to see the Ago Bay. Yokoyama is at an altitude of 230 meters, there are four observatory lookouts. Yokoyama observatory is located at 140 meters and won a star of “Micheline Green Guide Japan”.
Yokoyama Observatory will be renewed in 2018 as a "National Park Fulfilment Project" that promotes the charm of the national parks nationwide. The viewing terrace will have been completed in April 2018 and the cafe is opening in August.
On the refurbished terrace, you can enjoy the superb view all by yourself or have a cup of coffee together with your family and friends. We cannot wait for the opening of the café in the sky.
