Furobashi Bridge is an arch-shaped stone bridge built in 1851 by the order of the 10th lord of Kishu Clan, Tokoragawa Harutomi.
This bridge was built for Tokugawa Family and the participants of Kishu Tosho-gu Shrine to go to Wakamatsuri (festival) for worshipping Tokugawa Ieyasu.
The arch-shaped stone bridge of the Edo era is quite rare except in Kyushu region, especially the cloud-shaped relief on the balustrades are impressive.
