“The most bizarre festival in Japan” is how it is called. Fishermen pray for a big catch and safety on the sea in the festival. Young men shoulder five sea bream each of which weighs about a ton and march around the town and seaside. They wrap the frameworks made of wood and bamboo with white cotton cloths to create the massive bream.
That overwhelming parade attracts a lot of tourists every year.

Date: On weekends from middle to late July every year
