"Yabusame" is a traditional ceremony which people ride a horse and discharge an arrow at a target. It has more than 1000 years history.
At Tado Shrine, this festival is held on November 23 every year since 1991 with teaching of Ogasawara Kyohjyo. It is a big event ranked with "Ageuma Shinto Ritual" in March.
To go by traditional rule, in rapid succession they discharge an arrow at a target. The audience see the technique and give a great big hand.
