Mt. Tado is 403-meter high near the south of Yoro mountainous. Almost everywhere of Nobi plain has a view of this mountain.
Rice price in Osaka used to be told with flag signs from mountain to mountain from mid Edo to early Taisho era, and Mt. Tado was used as a mountain which tells the price.
It is said that it took only 10 minutes to transmit situation and information of Osaka from where the mountain is to Kuwana.
