The formative arts created by nature, “Tottori-Sakyu”. There is a museum where sculptures made of “sand” are exhibited firstly in the world. That’s “Sand museum”.
In this museum, which open during only from April to January and has changed its theme every year, delicate and big sand figures are stood and visitors are excited.
This year’s theme is German.
Sand sculptures related with German will be exhibited. (Picture is last year things)
These sculptures are returned to the original sand with end of the open term.
They are so beautiful that they don’t exist forever.
Please feel the extremely power and the story of sand sculptures which can be seen only now.
