‘SAGA Night of Light by NAKED’ is a collaboration art project between Saga Prefecture and ‘NAKED’ – one of Japan’s pioneers in projection mapping.
Located 50 metres above ground in Saga Prefectural Office’s observation hall, the fantastic city night view is lit up in a synchronised display by means of projection mapping, resulting in a fairy-tale impression of a night-time world lit up with dazzling shapes and colours.
The concept of the display is based on Saga Prefecture’s own history and culture; however, if you’re lucky enough you may even recognise some popular hidden characters.
What’s more, ‘gourmet passports’ are available to those who have seen the display. Valid on the same day only, these passports can be used in 30 different shops & restaurants located around the main street between the prefectural office and the railway station.
Promising to be a unique and memorable experience, this is something not to be missed by visitors to Saga!
