Departing from Hiroshima (home of the Peace Memorial and close to the World Heritage site of Miyajima), and bound for Matsue in Shimane Prefecture, foreign nationals can enjoy a discounted fare of just 500JPY when taking the ‘Grand Arrow’ express bus (the standard fare is 3900JPY!).

Shimane Prefecture boasts a variety of tourist attractions, including the Izumo Taisha Shrine (one of the most ancient and important Shinto shrines), and Matsue Castle – both of which are designated National Treasures of Japan.
