Shiobara hot spring has three highland vegetables; Japanese radish, spinach, and turnip. You can taste fresh turnip in the season of fresh green at Shiobara hot spring. The turnip is sweet, soft and fresh because it is grown in cold highland with a big difference in temperature between day and night. Local people call it “Toro-Kabu.” Enjoy the spring taste in Shiobara hot spring.
