The 62th “Tateyama festival” will be held in Tateyama-cho, Toyama prefecture in 29th July. This year’s main events are “Tateyama Kouta Machi Nagashi” in which nearly 300 people, the largest number of this event, are dancing, and an autograph session by a cartoonist Machida Midori from Tateyama-cho, who became famous for “Yoko to Yoshinani.” In addition, there are food and drink stands by several local groups and gaming event for children at popular booths.
