Chikugo River fireworks, the biggest in western Japan, will be held in 5th August this year! It has been held since 1650 as Suitengu dedicated fireworks. In 1965, the name was changed to the name now used, and many visitors came to see the fireworks, which is one of the best fireworks in Japan. About 18,000 fireworks is worth watching. In Shinoyama venue, you can see powerful Shaku-dama and 480m Niagara Falls of fireworks in the sky over Chikugo River. It is spectacular to see that the fireworks, which shot off all at once, falls into the sky like fall.
