Hara Village is located in the highlands at an altitude of 900m to over 1300m. Due to less rainfall and long hours of sunshine, highland vegetables such as celery, lettuce, cabbage and spinach grow well. Especially celery is difficult to grow and requires low humidity and cool weather. The climate in Hara Village is very suitable for growing celery. The celery is cultivated with care, the seedlings are planted in separate pots in a green house from the end of April. When it has grown to about 20cm by the end of May, it will be moved from the green house and replanted outside. It becomes fresh and rich in flavor because of a lot of natural air. It is then harvested at the best time early in the morning from June to August.
It contains well-balanced vitamins and minerals. You will like the fresh scent and unique flavor. In Hara Village, you can also taste a variety of celery such as deep-fried celery leaves, pickled and boiled with sweetened soy sauce.
