Jojima in Fukuoka is famous for its production of sake, as well as being the host of the biggest annual sake festival in the Kyushu region, with eight sake breweries participating. This year, the festival will take place on the 17th and 18th of February.
At the main venue, ‘jojima chomin-no-mori’, a variety of sake can be tasted, and there is also a bar and a shop selling a variety of alcoholic beverages, with something for everyone to enjoy.
Additionally, certain sake breweries themselves will also be open to the public, with a shuttle bus in operation between them, conveniently enabling visitors to truly make the most of this unique and enjoyable event.
