Chang Young Ran’s Korean Embroidery Collection
And
Exhibition of Craft Accessories by Graduates from Ewha Women’s University

To mark the opening of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, The Museum of Arts and Crafts Itami is holding an exhibition of Korean embroidery, featuring around 200 pieces from the personal collection of Chang Young Ran, professor at the University of Suwon. From folding screens to wall hangings and costumes, the exhibits beautifully showcase the color and delicacy of traditional Korean textiles. Exhibition room B will host a display of craft accessories in the Korean embroidery tradition made by Chang Young Ran, and nine other graduates of Ewha Women’s University Textiles Department. Both exhibitions are an opportunity to discover the beautiful world of Korean embroidery.

Dates and Times: January 13th (Saturday) ~ February 25th (Sunday), 2018
10:00 ~ 18:00 (last entry at 17:30)
The museum is closed on Mondays (open on public holidays, in which case the museum will close the following day)
