Midori-en is a family run tea house in Itami. With over one hundred years of history, the current owners put this expertise to bear in sourcing the finest Japanese teas, with a special emphasis on organic and pesticide free products.

Midori-en has two sites in central Itami: the Reita branch located in Hankyu Itami Station Building, and the main shop just outside the station. Both shops include a café serving a range of teas, sweets, and cakes, and stock a wide selection of loose leaf teas and tea bags from all over Japan. Those interested in shopping for tea cups and other utensils for making tea should take a look at the beautiful collection on display in the main shop.

The main shop also houses Midori-en’s traditional Japanese tea room, where visitors can experience the authentic Japanese tea ceremony.
