The Nasu Insect Collection exhibition for 2018 will be held over the summer at Nasunogahara Museum.
The exhibition will feature insects found in the Nasu region, split into four categories based on their habitats: forest, grassland, water, and household, along with detailed information regarding characteristics, physical skills, life-cycles, etc.
Visitors can also witness a diorama replicating the method for finding insects, even sharing some lesser known tricks of the trade. Workshops, interesting information on current insect research, as well as a variety of other events, will also be taking place.

Museum opening times: 09:00 – 17:00 (last admission at 16:30)
Closed: Monday 9th, 23rd, 30th July & Monday 6th & 20th August (open on Monday 13th August as a one-off)
Admission fee: standard – 300 (250); 15-18 yrs & university students – 200 (150); 6-15 yrs – 100 (50).
