Pond of Numappara will colour beautiful deep indigo blue in Autumn!
Numappara Marsh is located at the border between Nasushiobara-shi and Nasu-machi.
It is so unspoiled that many precious ecosystems remain, also an entrance to the climbing route to Sandogoya Onsen.
The Numappara Regulating Reservoir is located near the car park of the Numappara Marsh, was built in 1974 as one of upper regulating reservoirs of the Miyama dam.
It is a facility of pumped-storage power generation using the difference of the height to the Miyama dam.
Although it is an artificial pond, the scenery of the deep indigo blue pond among Autumn fresh air is splendid.
