A museum exhibiting reproductions of residences from the Edo era, the Sekiya Folk Museum is situated in the Sekiya district of Nasushiobara City, which during the same era flourished as a postal town along the famous Aizu roadway.
The museum exhibits folk tools and materials dating from the late Edo to the early Showa eras, giving visitors an insight to the history and daily life of past Japan.
