A toll road between Kinugawa Onsen and Shiobara Onsen in Nasushiobara City, with total length of 28km at an altitude of 1,000m.
As its name suggests, Momiji means Japanese Maple, this road become a popular driving route with a superb view of the autumn leaves.
Leaves of the trees such as Momiji, maple, beech, Japanese Judas, white birch, oak, rowan, sumac, larch, ivy, all turns into bright red, orange and yellow from early October to the late October.
There are ski resorts such as Hunter Mountain Shiobara and Edelweiss along the road, you can see the autumn leaves from the gondola at Hunter Mountain.
