Since its eyes are glowing blue, the fish are called "Mehikari" (means glowing eye).
The white meat and fluffy texture is so delicious and fatty that you can eat it dried, deep fried, Tempura or raw as sashimi.
The soft skin is also one of the features. Even if you eat the whole fish, it has an excellent texture and is delicious.
Best season is January through to February.
