The "Chikugo River Fireworks Festival" is one of the traditional fireworks festivals and has continued since 1650 to dedicate to the Suitengu Shrine, and the 360th festival this year. People called the festival with the current name, Chikugo River Fireworks Festival in 1965, and has been the largest fireworks festival in Western Japan with approximately 18,000 fireworks from two locations at the same time.
Sky rockets, set fireworks, Niagara Falls fireworks, all decorate the summer night sky and is so powerful. Please visit and see the large fire flowers blooming in the sky above the Chikugo River.
