Enkū Museum

Enkū is a Japanese monk of Edo era (17th century).
It is said that he had made more than 12 thousands sculptures, during his pilgrimage.
Enkūbutsu, sculptures mabe by Enkū, continue to fascinate people .

Since Seki City is place of Enkū's death, there are Miroku Temple, mounds and Enkū's grave around this museum.
It is a must see place for a Enkū enthusiast, also sculptures'.
The sculptures which are remained in the city are being displayed in this museum.
