This is an only museum where you can meet woodcrafts folk arts which Tajima・Oya have been telling in Japan. It always exhibits works that look at history of " publicly sponsored exhibition woofcrafts folk arts・Oya". Inside the space you can hear the sound of running water of Seiryuoya River, and please touch various works. This was restored to museum from old private house which was a 120-year-old clinic. This remains an old atmosphere everywehere such as an unfloored space which was made of newly reconstructed hard-packed dirt, a werehouse which was made of plaster with sand, and raven beams. You can enjoy a view of rural beauty on the site covered about 460 tsubo such as a Japanese garden which preserves the appearance of old times, and a lake.
