Ibaraki

Ibaragi is also famous for the Warp Station Edo which is a historical park where you can sense the atmosphere of the Edo era. The place is frequently used for movie and TV sets. This place is a must see if you would like to experience the Edo era.

For tourists with children, the Hitachi Seaside Park is recommended. There are many attractions you can enjoy such as the big Ferris wheel, roller coaster, splash area, as well as the flower garden, the sand dune, old Japanese style houses and beautiful scenery.

On top of that, you can reach the Tsukuba Hot Spring and the Yokogawa Hot Spring, which is famous for ''Bijin-no-yu'' (a hot spring of beauty), in no more than 2 to 3 hours from the city center.
